Fruit fly simulation

This simulation was developed using NetLogo, a free programmable modeling environment developed at Northwestern University that is used by students, teachers, and researchers to develop models and simulations. Follow these simple steps to use the simulation:

  1. Download the free NetLogo program from Northwestern's NetLogo development page.
  2. Download the modules from this page (listed under Files).
  3. Open NetLogo and navigate to the modules (.nlogo files) saved on your computer.

In this simulation built with NetLogo, students investigate how light, temperature, and genetic mutations affect fruit fly behavior.
